It's tricky, a message of "think for yourself, question everything" but at the same time tries to direct your thinking with instructions....I don't really resonate with the P's via Barbara, they seem to sap me of my strength :-( they do not provide tools, just limiting "rules"There are those who provide tools for removing the layers of blindfolds we wear. (Hathors via Tom Kenyon are extremely helpful in this) if you try the Hathors or others that provide actual tools and NEVER TRY TO DICTATE YOUR THOUGHTS or ACTIONS, never tell you what to think or how to live, you may find that you feel stronger in your own power, which is freedom.The P's give lower level "rules to live by" which, for me Feels like mind control. This book provides instruction which sounds like "Limited thinking" anxiety & stress was the result of my reading this book and I chose not to continue with Barbara's information.Please be careful, following instructions distracts you and prevents you from feeling your own power."the abode of the Deity is the home of limited thinking. The Deity, or that which you worship, always gives you limited thinking so you can be managed" (quote from this book)
I have really enjoyed this book, I'm sure some may see it as strange New Age involving aliens which it does, but stop and think about the world we're living in, we need a perspective from outside the rat race humanity has gotten itself into. This book offers understanding of many of the personal challenges I myself am dealing with as well as the chaos going on in the world governments. It offers answers in places that religion left me with none and yet it does not deny a person's belief in a higher intelligence. I would recommend this book for anyone struggling with day to day life who has not felt fulfilled with what religion offers, this gives us a view of the bigger picture, and that offers hope and stability. All of Barbara Marciniak's books offer hope and understanding for the chaos of these times.It offers a purpose for us as humans beings struggling in the world as it is today. Read it with an open mind and you'll understand the bigger picture.
This is one of Barbara Marciniak's early books, but the best ever book to get you started on the wisdom of the Pleiadian information. They are here to help us us through these changing times that are unfolding at the present. It will challenge your belief system and do doubt alter it. I found it best absorbed if I only read one chapter at a setting...giving ones mind a chance to process what it had read. I have read all of her books, which are channeled by the Peiadian and wished I would have read this one first. Nevertheless this should be a must read to anyone searching for spiritually, to know oneself, and to learn where our roots lie. It is very well written and an easy read.

This is one that I can share with friends and family who found "Bringers" too intimidating."Family of Light" is very specific to our current time, and is more direct and understandable than Barbara's previous two books, but is certainly no less powerful. The energy comes through loud and clear (I even found it to be very visual) and the stories are captivating and easy to follow. By contrast, "Bringers" seemed more abstract, esoteric, and "far out" (although I loved it nonetheless).Those of us who have been privileged to witness Barbara chanelling in person will immediately recognize the familiar playful Pleiadian intensity in "Family of Light." Read it, and be transformed :-)
Towards the end of the book, I had that feeling that the pages rewrote themselves just for/because of me. Amazing. Yet that is the way it is when one accepts the reality of time travel. Actually, time travel is just what simultaneity looks like from a linear perspective.
This book resonates with a frequency that elevates the reader to their vast potential to carry themselves forward in their earth mission. As light workers, we each feel the transcendence of dimensions occurring and the rush of the planetary shift. Our quest as so eloquently expressed in family of light is to hold steadfast to our blueprint of unfolding a new reality individually so the collective will follow. Our time is now, our history is Destiny the time for the restoration of Earth is our mission. ThAnk you for this treasure Pleadians and thank you for your love and support.
