Bought to add to 7yr old granddaughter's birthday package. She's really into jokes and loves the book. Wish I could be there to hear her deliver them!
I put this in my nephew's Easter basket and he loved it! I am sure he drove his class to tears telling these jokes all day the following Monday. He got such a kick out of this book. He is not into candy but he loves jokes so this was just right for him. Helps with his reading and memory (since his Mom would not let him take the book to school so he had to work at remembering the jokes) A great book!!!
More Laugh Out Loud Jokes for Kids is great fun Q&A style jokes for kids. Like the previous book, this volume focuses primarily on the Q&A style jokes. There are two random pages of tongue twisters dotted in, and the remainder of the book is in Q&A style. I was hoping to see some "punchline story jokes" in here (such as the "two ducks walk into a store" type jokes), but sadly there are none. There are no large illustrations in the book either, so this volume is pure joke fun. My kid comedian had a blast staying up late poring over this book with his cousin, and the jokes were simple enough for younger kids to get. Overall, this is a fun second volume in the Laugh Out Loud Jokes for Kids books. It's a great book for any kid comedian.
My girls loved this book before we ever bought it. Just the examples listed on the preview page were enough to give them a ton of entertainment. They remembered and re-told the preview jokes before the book ever arrived as a Christmas surprise. Once they got it, my 7 year old sat down and read it like a chapter book. She read some of the jokes to her little sister, and they both laughed and enjoyed it. I like it, as the jokes make sense to little kids. Some joke books make comparisons or refer to things that kids don't understand. Then I have to explain it to them, and by that time, it's not funny to them. These were jokes that they got immediately, because kids know about animals! I highly recommend this book, and we will probably buy other books in this series.
We have purchased several of these joke books for our son, and he reads them again and again. Sometimes jokes go over his head, but the great thing is as he gets older more of the jokes start to make sense to him. Because they are so well-priced, we don't hesitate to buy more when he gets through one. He also loves to have Mom and Dad face off to see who can get the answer correct first, and anything that helps bring us closer as a family is a win!
Purchased as a stocking stuff for the kids... ages 7 and 10. Should be fine for younger kids too.They love it. They are corny kid jokes, but they love reading them and telling them to each other and the adults.Definitely recommend it.
Nice little book. My 9 year old son enjoys these joke books. I've bought him a couple now. He enjoys reading us his favorite jokes.
I purchased all of the Rob Elliott joke books as stocking stuffers for me nieces and nephews who range in age from 5-12. The kids has a lot of fun running around telling each other jokes. Two months later they are still using them. I like that it gets them reading and helps sharpen their senses of humor.Some of the same jokes were in a couple of the other books which was a little disappointing.
